THAT MAN IS YOU:

Saturday, September 11th, 2021

A new season of "That Man is You" is starting up on Saturday, September 11, 2021. This year's topic is "The Vision of Man Fully Alive," which enables men to experience authentic freedom as sons of God. As men live the three-fold mission of abiding presence, joyful service and loving sacrifice, their hearts and homes will experience the joy that God desires. To sustain them on their spiritual journey, the men will be led directly to the three spiritual foods that Christ Himself proclaims: The Eucharist, The Word of God, and The Will of God. The meetings will be in the RCIA room at St. Patrick on Saturdays at 7:00 a.m. and ending promptly at 8:30 a.m.

RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS (RCIA):

Are you interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith?

RCIA classes are beginning soon! This year's classes will be held on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 PM at St. Pat's, and will begin on August 24. We spend the first half of the year looking in detail at what the Church professes in the Creed, and the second half of the year learning about the life of grace received in the Sacraments. All the while, we endeavor to grow in prayer and our relationship with the Lord. Anyone with interest or questions about the Faith is welcome!

Please contact Ashley Roberts if you plan to attend (ashleyroberts.dre@gmail.com; or call the parish office).

MARIAN PILGRIMAGE

Join us for a Marian Pilgrimage this October!

An idea was raised in the Marian Consecration classes this past month about organizing a pilgrimage to a few particularly unique shrines to Our Lady located in Wisconsin. We will be visiting the National Shrine of Our Lady, Help of Christians at Holy Hill (near Milwaukee), and the only Marian apparition site in the United States to have received Church approval to date--Our Lady of Good Help (near Green Bay). All are welcome!

The tentative schedule is as follows:

Thursday, October 7: depart at 1:00 PM. Stop at the Shrine of Christ's Passion in St. John, IN. This shrine has very moving, almost life-sized outdoor Stations of the Cross. Overnight in Milwaukee.

pilgrimage1.jpg

Friday, October 8: The National Shrine of Our Lady Help of Christians at Holy Hill. We will attend Mass, and have some time to explore before heading to Green Bay. Overnight in Green Bay.

pilgrimage2.jpg

Saturday, October 9: The National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help. We will attend Mass on the anniversary of the apparition, as well as take a shift in an all-night prayer vigil (Friday to Saturday) commemorating the 150th anniversary of the shrine's miraculous preservation from the most devastating fire in US history.

pilgrimage3.jpg

We will return late in the evening on October 9.

At this point, we have several extra hotel rooms in our block, but no available spots on the bus. If you would like to come along, and are willing to drive yourself and/or carpool, you are very welcome! The extra hotel rooms will be first come, first served.

Please contact Ashley Roberts at the parish office by July 1 if you are interested!

Fatima Mass 2021

Sunday, May 16th, 2021

This year our Fatima Mass is a little bit earlier than normal. In celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, the 2021 Fatima Mass at the shrine will be on SUNDAY May 16th!

This is the first day of the 33-Day Marian Pilgrimage throughout the entire archdiocese. (check out Mary2021.org for more info!) Mass begins at 1:30pm and is followed by a Marian procession from the shrine to our Holy Family Hall, where light refreshments will be served.

Adding to the exciting day, at the end of Mass, Father Landenwitch will be consecrating the Logan County parishes to Mary, and those from both Saint Patrick and Saint Mary of the Woods who have been participating in the consecration classes will make their personal consecrations to our Blessed Mother as well!

Please park at the church, where we have shuttles to take you to the shrine. Shuttles start at noon, and run until 3:30.

If you would like, please process with us from the shrine back to the hall, where light refreshments will be available. Bring your Rosary, as we will be praying on the procession back!

Marian Parish Consecration Prayer:

For those who were not able to attend our parish Marian consecration on May 16, we encourage you to read and unite your hearts to the consecration prayer:
