FATHER'S PATRIOTIC FIREWORKS
The 29th Annual Festival Steering Committee is pleased to announce the addition of a major commercial fireworks show as the grand finale on Saturday night of Father's Day Weekend, June 20, 2020. Fireworks will be viewable from the festival grounds, the village of Russells Point, and a significant Southeastern portion of Indian Lake State Park. If successful, the greater Indian Lake Community, would be the only state (Ohio) park resort area to host two major annual commercial fireworks displays.
Several area and regional businesses have begun making contributions to the fireworks; however, we need the help of our greater Catholic community to accomplish this positive and lofty goal for our broader community. Simply put, we can not accomplish this goal without the support of parishioner like yourself.
The following fundraisers have been created to support FATHER'S PATRIOTIC FIREWORKS.
• Fireworks Sponsorship Packets currently being distributed to local/regional businesses, and to prospective individuals.
• Dayton Dragons Game Suite Raffle (tickets); game is on May 9 at 7:00 p.m., drawing is April 25 at parish Hall Fundraiser.
• Texas Roadhouse Food fundraisers; to include bread (frozen roll dough), peanut & free appetizer cards, and gift cards.
• April 25 fundraising dinner, to include Texas Roadhouse sales, and the Dayton Dragons Raffle Winner.
• Dayton Dragons Baseball Group Night Outing on Saturday Night, May 23, 7:00 p.m., fireworks at the ballpark that night.
• Dayton Dragons Baseball Group Night Outing on Saturday Night, June 6, 7:00 p.m., fireworks at the ballpark that night.
The group night outing tickets are $12.00 each; and each ticket purchaser gets a free Dragons Hat. Our charity gets 50% ($6.00) of every ticket sale, returned to us. These game tickets are ordered through the Dayton Dragons. Flyers in upcoming bulletins.

Dear Jim and Charity Thiel,
I heard that the States has the highest cases of coronavirus in the world. It is really a scary time. I hope this email will find you both and your family very well. I pray for you, your family and for the American people.
I am sorry that you had to cancel your trip to Haiti with Linda due to coronavirus outbreak. Linda wired me the $3000 that you got from your parish for my orphanage. On behalf of all my orphaned kids, the staff of the orphanage and myself, I thank you very much for your love and your hard work for my kids. Please give our gratitude or our thanks to all the parishioners of your parish for their generosity. Please tell them they will be present our daily prayers because my kids pray for their benefactors at each meal they have.
We are experiencing a scary time in Haiti. When we heard the great number of people who are killed by coronavirus in Italy we are very afraid of what may or will happen in Haiti soon if God does not make a miracle. We are praying a lot despite the doors of the Churches are closed.
At the orphanage we teach the kids to wash their hands very often. We teach other principles of hygiene as well. The kids are allowed to be only around of their residence. We do not allow visitors to come to see them. We stop the cooks from going to the informal market. We buy everything for them. Thanks to your generous financial assistance and that of your parish, I bought food for one and half month for the orphaned kids despite the cost of the food becomes very high. Furthermore, there is already shortage or black market about food. Please keep us in your prayers as we do for the American people.
Bye for now. Let us continue to pray for each other. Have a good weekend
With love and prayers,
Fr. Andre Sylvestre
